Prevention for high risk patients & intensive treatment of pressure ulcers grade IV.
The ProCell V system includes an automatic, digital pump with AutoLock function for extra safety and a mattress with air-on-air cells. To achieve floating heels, it is possible to disconnect a heel cell and thus completely remove the contact pressure in this sensitive zone.
For optimal comfort, the cells alternate 1 to 3, providing better support to the user during therapy and reducing overall contact pressure.
In the nursing position (Autofirm), the mattress inflates into a stable lying surface for care or to simplify transfers in and out of bed.
An audiovisual alarm monitors pressure levels and warns if the system requires maintenance.
In both static and alternating modes, the pump senses when someone sits on or repositions the mattress and automatically takes a measurement to determine comfort level.
A manual mode can also be activated for a customized comfort setting.
